D.Wiggs Report post Posted January 28, 2012 Was curious to know if the UGR SVTT dyno had been posted or if any other SVTTs had been done. Hell, I've only seen one Murci TT dyno and that was Heffner's. Always nice to have something to compare to.

wooosh Report post Posted January 29, 2012 I know I remember hearing one made 1300whp on pump gas! 1300 hp at the crank, on pump gas, would seem more likely ......
oufan2929 Report post Posted January 29, 2012 1300 hp at the crank, on pump gas, would seem more likely ...... Well in all honesty, that came straight from KC at UR when I was there picking up my Viper last summer. Maybe they don't advertise those numbers as they probably back them down for reliability sake... But either way, that's stout for pump gas! emanon Report post Posted January 29, 2012 Fwiw, I don't see 1300 to the tires on 93. At least on a motor like the lp. There are a lot of factors to fight there, most notably head flow, average intake manifold at best, and a veeeery long crank that will love to flex. I do believe they can be built to make the power, but everything outside the block and cylinder heads will be replaced. That's not a bad thing either, just spendy. Underground Racing Report post Posted January 30, 2012 I know I remember hearing one made 1300whp on pump gas! With the latest upgrades, the SV made over 1200 WHP on 93 oct. I don't think it would be a problem to go 1300 WHP but WE wanted to keep it real safe and leave the power at only 1200 whp on pump. Some pics of the ones that have been upgraded to the latest spec. D.Wiggs Report post Posted January 30, 2012 Am I correct in assuming that when you say WHP, you mean RWHP? 1200 on pump is quite solid!

We have tested it both ways and with the turbo Lambos, we made more power on the AWD dyno as we were able to get more load on the engine. D.Wiggs Report post Posted January 30, 2012 We have tested it both ways and with the turbo Lambos, we made more power on the AWD dyno as we were able to get more load on the engine. So you made 1200 AWHP then on pump 93? What psi was that at? Yes, the AWD dynos often allow you to get more load on the engine thereby giving you more power. How come no 0-60 or 60-130 etc. vids for that thing?

Not on that car but we have seen it on the Gallarods as far as making more power on the AWD dyno. We stopped at an easy 1200 whp on a 2wd dyno. From what I remember, it only took around 13psi. As far as vbox runs, never bothered with it but the next one we do, I will take it out and make some OR if you car is done by that time, we can meet up and do some runs. When do you expect to have your SV completed?

Sounds good. 8 weeks is a real fast turn around time considering the R&D work that has to be done with the engine, ECU, clutch and etc... AWD on a Murci is just a waste. Aventador is one thing (and even that I'm not sure about keeping AWD), but the Murci should never be kept AWD no matter what you do to it. Thanks though! I can't imagine with all that weight/width & horsepower how this things not going to get squirrely with all that power going to two rear wheels? DBK Report post Posted January 30, 2012 I was curious about the shop building your TT SV, and came across their Myspace page. I'm curious how they went from stuff like the project below to doing TT Murci SV's. That's a hell of a change.
pockmark Report post Posted January 30, 2012 how those things not going to get squirrely with all that power going to two rear wheels? Sorry D-That car will be a nightmare over 1100rwhp going to 2 wheels. Im not saying that to be a hater because I think the car is sick, but you will need some of these tires to get it to hold: I have been in a few big hp TT murcies that weren't making 1100+awhp, and things get squirrely with power going to all 4 wheels. Its going to be a smokeshow. I do wish you the best of luck with the build though.
